AMT Genoa is the official application of the Mobility and Transport Company S.p.A. of Genoa. Using the application you will discover our world and our multimodal mobility services, you will be able to consult bus transits in real time, calculate the ideal route to move with us from one point of the city to another, buy tickets by credit card, Google Pay or SMS.
The main features of the application are:
- Timetables, for direct access to AMT multimodality, including provincial transport
- Routes, to calculate the routes in the urban area by public transport
- Tickets, to buy tickets by credit card or via SMS or check the validity of your City Pass subscription
- Search for lines and stops, to search for an address, a place or a stop by writing its name or code
- Favorites, to save frequently used stops, addresses and points of interest
- News, to read the latest traffic news and other information about AMT
- Updates on the service, for last minute updates
- Bus, to view the route of the different lines, timetables and transits in real time at the stops
- Metro, to view the timetables and the first useful transits at the various network stops by consulting the metro scheme
- Funiculars, to view the Genoese funiculars and consult their service timetables
- Lifts, to view the different lifts and their opening times
- Navebus, to consult service and departures
- Volabus, to view service timetables, stops and the route map
- Genova Casella, to consult the departure times of the train from Piazza Manin and Casella
- Drinbus, to view the maps on which Drinbus operates and how to book it
- Additional services and Taxibus, to consult the timetables of the various additional services and how to book the Taxibus call lines
- AMT ticket offices, to consult the company sales points

What can I say...as a foreigner trying to buy tickets on the app and trying to use public transportation the app is 0...because it doesn't work...full of errors...not being able to open it...getting tickets around the city....a hassle... buying tickets on the bus...nope. everything is fine because it just doesn't work...bravo Italy! You just became a third world country! 👏

Would give 0 starts actually. Useless app. Redirects to Google maps for navigation which is much better than this app. Gpay is integrated but accepts only credit cards which is pointless because i can then just use my credit card. PayPal is not integrated. Timetables are not present on the bus stop so this app functions effectively only as a bus schedule

App is apparently blocked if your IP address is in the wrong country (so is the AMT website). So to access when roaming you'll need to use a VPN to pretend to be in Italy (Switzerland also seems to work).
